2,885 new Covid cases & 1,944 recoveries today, total recoveries cross 75K mark

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 12: Covid-19 was confirmed in 2,885 persons in Kerala today even as 1,944 patients under treatment for the same have recovered from the disease. Of those diagnosed today, 2,640 were cases of local transmission and the source of infection of 287 was not traceable. 42 are returnees from abroad and 137 from other states. 55 healthcare workers were also infected by Coronavirus.

CM launches 34 hi-tech schools as Centres of Excellence

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan has said that 14 government school buildings will be completed at a cost of Rs 3 crores as part of the 100-day action plan announced recently. He said this while inaugurating 34 higher secondary school buildings in various constituencies in the state through video conference. These schools were developed as part of the State Government’s ambitious plans to turn one school in each assembly constituency into a centre of excellence.

Thiruvananthapuram: Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja has informed that 3,349 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Kerala today even as 1,657 patients under treatment for the same have recovered. 3,058 people were infected through contact and the source of infection of 266 was unknown. 50 are returnees from foreign countries and 165 from other states. 72 healthcare workers were also infected with Coronavirus.

Kerala reports its highest single day count of 3,402 new cases today

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 09: 3,402 new active cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today according to the Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja. 3,120 were cases of local transmission and the source of infection of 235 was unknown. 46 cases were those who came back from foreign countries and 133, from other states. 88 healthcare workers were also infected At the same time, 2,058 patients under treatment for the same have recovered.
