Kochi: The Onam season has brought a significant surge in cargo exports through Cochin International Airport (CIAL), with 1,678 metric tonnes (MT) of cargo, including 1,173 MT of perishables, expected to be handled through scheduled flight services between August 17 and 23.

Kochi: Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has reported its highest-ever annual financial performance, registering a record profit of Rs. 500 Crore, for the first time in the company’s history. The Board of Directors, meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri V D Satheesan, approved a series of strategic initiatives, most notably CIAL’s entry into the airport consultancy business, to leverage the country’s rapidly expanding aviation infrastructure sector.

Kochi: Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF), known by the brand Milma, has launched Milma’s automatic vending machines at Metro Stations and ‘Chill Mill’ franchisees in the city. Minister for Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development, Smt Bindhu Krishna, inaugurated the project to install the machines, implemented by Milma’s Ernakulam Regional Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union (ERCMPU).
