Thiruvananthapuram: Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja has informed that Covid-19 was confirmed in 4,696 people in Kerala today even as 2,751patients have recovered from the same. There are 4,425 cases of local transmission and the contact source of 459 were not traceable. Of those diagnosed today, 44 have come back from foreign countries and 137 from other states. 80 healthcare workers were also infected by the disease.

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 4,644 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today. 3,781 persons were infected through contact and the source of infection of 498 was unknown. 86 healthcare workers were also infected by Coronavirus. At the same time, 2,862 patients have recovered from the disease. At present, there are 37,488 active cases in the State. Both new cases and recoveries are the single-day highest count so far.

Of those diagnosed today, 48 have come back from foreign countries and 165 from other states. 102 healthcare workers were also infected by Coronavirus.

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 4,351 new active Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Kerala today. 4,081 were contact cases and the source of infection of 351 was unknown. Of those diagnosed today, 57 have come back from foreign countries and 141 from other states. 72 healthcare workers were infected through contact. 10 deaths were also reported. At the same time, 2,737 patients under treatment for the disease have recovered today.
