Kochi: Marriott International Inc. has opened its first property in Kerala. The premier four-star hotel from the Marriott India Cluster, Courtyard by Marriott, near the Kochi International Airport at Nedumbassery, was recently inaugurated by the Minister for Excise and Ports, Shri K Babu. The project has been promoted and developed by the UAE based Lulu Group International.

Kochi: The seventh edition of Kerala Travel Mart (KTM), the largest buyer-seller meet in tourism sector, will be held in Kochi from September 27 to 30, 2012. Around 500 foreign delegates from 48 countries and 1,700 domestic delegates are expected to participate in Kerala Travel Mart 2012. Kochi: US based Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that Hyatt affiliates signed management agreements for a Grand Hyatt hotel in Kochi, bringing the total number of announced Hyatt-branded hotels under development in India to 56. Grand Hyatt Kochi, will be located on Bolgatty Island in Kochi and is expected to open in 2017 first quarter.
