Government to take 10% equity in Aranmula International Airport

Trivandrum: The Kerala Government has decided to take 10 percent stake in the proposed Greenfield Internationalairport project at Aranmula in Pathanamthitta District, thereby giving its formal approval for the project. The Chennai based KGS Group is expected to start the work on their Rs.2,000 crore airport soon and they plan to start the operations of the airport in two years time.

KGS to start work on Aranmula International Airport in January

Trivandrum: The Chennai based KGS Group is ready to start the work on their Rs.2,000 crore proposed International Airport at Arnamula in Pathanamthitta District, in January, 2013. The Greenfield airport will be India’s first international airport to be started in the private sector. The company hopes to start the flight operations from the new airport in December, 2014.

KGS Aranmula International Airport gets clearance for take off

Aranmula: KGS Aranmula International Airport Ltd., which is developing India’s first private Greenfield International airport in India at Aranmula in Pathanamthitta District, has received all clearances for the project. A team from the Airports Authority of India had visited the site of the airport recently and given full clearance for the project. This was announced today at a press conference.
