Trivandrum: Kerala has created a new milestone in services delivery by issuing over one crore Digital Certificates under the e-District portal, a mission mode project under the National e-Governance Programme (NeGP).

All Panchayats in Kerala to have broadband connection by Mar 2015
Trivandrum: Kerala is aiming to become the first State in the country to have high-speed Internet connecting all the Panchayats across the State in about six months from now. Chief Minister, Shri Oommen Chandy said this while briefing the media after the weekly Cabinet meeting in Thiruvananthapuram.

Trivandrum: The Kerala Government has launched an e-Services portal as the first phase of the State Service Delivery Gateway (SSDG) Project, a core component in e-Governance infrastructure under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). The e-Services portal (www.eservices.kerala.gov.in) was inaugurated by the Minister for Industries & IT, Shri P K Kunhalikutty at a function held at the Institute of Management in Governance (IMG) in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Kerala State IT Mission (KSITM) is the nodal agency for the project.
