Munnar: The State Government will accord top priority to developing world-class infrastructure facilities in an environment-friendly manner at all tourist destinations in Kerala. This was announced by State Tourism Minister, Shri A P Anil Kumar after laying the foundation stone for a new four-storeyed guest house at Munnar today.

Trivandrum: The Kerala Tourism Department has embarked on a campaign titled ‘Dream Deals’ in a bid to leverage the potential during what is traditionally dubbed ‘off-season’ during the peak-summer months of April-May, followed by the monsoons.

Trivandrum: Kerala has bagged the ‘Best Green Destination’ prize at the India’s Best Awards for 2013. Besides the ‘Best Green Destination’ in India honour, Kerala also picked up the ‘Best Indian State’ prize at the awards presented every year by the Travel + Leisure South Asia magazine for the world’s top tourism and travel destinations and services.

Trivandrum: Kerala Tourism has taken the top prize at the world’s largest tourism trade show held in Germany, winning the ITB-Berlin’s Golden City Gate gold award, dubbed the ‘Oscar of Tourism Communications’.
