Kochi: Gigo Joseph, the Chief Executive Officer of SmartCity Kochi, the IT park project promoted by the Dubai based TECOM Investments here, has resigned. The Board of Directors having accepted his resignation, has for the time being, given the additional charge of CEO to Baju George, MD of SmartCity Kochi.

Technopark denies Infosys’ allegations of infrastructure inadequacy
Trivandrum: Technopark authorities today strongly refuted the allegations of ‘non-cooperation’ in building infrastructure for Infosys in Technocity, the Phase IV expansion of Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram, stating that the IT Park had provided all facilities required to start construction in the acquired land.

Trivandrum: It was on April 04, 2012 that IT major Infosys announced their plans of setting up a new campus at the Technocity in Thiruvananthapuram. It was to be their second SEZ campus in Kerala, the first being in Technopark Phase II, also in the capital city. But even after three years nothing seems to have moved beyond the announcement and now Infosys has informed the Technopark authorities their decision to withdraw from the project.
