Trivandrum: The job skill deficit among the students from the professional colleges in Kerala is around 39%, according to a study done by the ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK). The study for estimating the skills needed to be employable was done in the member institutions of ICTAK.

Samsung India sets up its skill development initiative in Kerala
Trivandrum: Strengthening its commitment towards skill development among the youth, Samsung India Electronics today announced the setting up of the 18th Samsung Technical School in the country at ITI, Kalamassery. This was announced at an event in Thiruvananthapuram where Samsung signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Government Industrial Training Institute, Kalamassery, Kerala.
