Both figures are single-day highs. 6,131 are cases of local transmission with the contact source unknown in 713 cases. Of those diagnosed today, 58 are returnees from foreign countries and 198 from other states. 80 healthcare workers were among those infected.

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 6,324 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today. Presently, there are 45,919 patients under treatment. 5,321 are cases of local transmission with the contact source unknown in 628 (total 5,949 contact cases). 105 healthcare workers were infected through contact. At the same time, 3,168 patients have recovered from the disease today.

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 5,376 new Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Kerala today. There are 42,786 patients now under treatment. 4,424 are cases of infection through contact and the contact source of 640 was not traceable (total of 5,064 contact cases). 99 healthcare workers were among those infected. Meanwhile, 20 deaths were reported today even as 2,951 patients have recovered from the disease.

Meanwhile, 3,007 patients have recovered from the disease today.
