Thiruvananthapuram: After the Covid lockdown, 20 new IT companies have come to Kerala to set up their operations here. Along with this, five existing companies have also asked for more space as part of their expansion plans. With the advent of new companies, more than 300 new job opportunities were created. It is expected that within 100 days, 500 new jobs will be created in Technopark, Trivandrum; 1,000 in Infopark, Kochi; and 125 in Cyberpark, Kozhikode, according to a press release.

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today said that the State was successful in containing the number of deaths due to Covid. He also added that the government’s efforts were to delay the outbreak of the pandemic from peaking and the government used the time gained in the process to strengthen the medical and health infrastructure facilities in the State.

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 5,022 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Kerala today. Of these, 4,257 people were infected through contact and the infection source for 647 was unknown. There are 59 healthcare workers among those infected. At the same time, 7,469 patients have recovered today from Coronavirus infection.

Kochi: The government has decided to implement the city gas supply scheme in all the taluks of Ernakulam district. Currently, the natural gas pipeline is available from Karingachira via Kundannur and Edappally up to Aluva. The decision has been taken to extend it to Angamaly, Perumbavoor and Kolancherry. The groundwork has started in all the six municipalities.
