Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today informed that Kerala has become the first state in the country to fix the floor price for vegetables. He said this while launching the scheme announcing the floor price for 16 varieties of vegetables. The scheme would come into effect from November 01, 2020.

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today announced government intervention in the open market to control the rising prices of onion in the State. The shops under the Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco), the Kerala State Co-operatives Consumers’ Federation (Consumerfed) and the Kerala State Horticultural Products Development Corporation (Horticorp) will sell onion at Rs. 45 per kg from next month.

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 4,287 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Kerala today. 3,711 people were infected through contact and the source of infection was unknown for 471. There are 53 healthcare workers among those infected. At the same time, 7,107 patients have recovered from the disease today.
