Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 7,020 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today. 6,037 persons were infected through contact and the source of infection for 734 was unknown. 81 healthcare workers were among those infected. At the same time, 8,474 patients have recovered from the disease today.

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today emphasised on the need for the Universities and government-aided colleges to obtain a higher NAAC grading as only such institutions were eligible for funds from the Central Government under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA).
