Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 4,138 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed today while 21 deaths were reported. 3,599 persons were infected through contact and the contact source for 438 was unknown. There were 47 health personnel among those infected. At the same time, 7,108 patients have recovered from Coronavirus infection today and there are 86,681 patients still undergoing treatment for the same.

Thiruvananthapuram: Covid-19 was confirmed in 7,025 persons in Kerala today while 8,511 patients have recovered from the disease. 6,163 were cases of local transmission and the source of infection was not known for 712 cases. There were 65 medical staff members among those infected. Meanwhile, 28 deaths were confirmed today as being caused by Covid taking the death toll in the state to 1,512.
