Trivandrum: The nationwide Bharat Bandh called in support of the striking farmers turned into a total shutdown in Kerala today as LDF, the ruling front had called for a hartal in the state supporting the Bharat Bandh. Trade unions affiliated with the LDF and the opposition UDF supported the Bharat Bandh.

Transport Minister, Shri Antony Raju said that with this, all the services except driving test and vehicle inspection, for which the applicants are required to appear in person, can be done online.

Trivandrum: The Kerala government has announced further relaxation of the lockdown restrictions. Briefing the media after the weekly review of the Covid situation, Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said, “Hotels, restaurants and bars can open in-house dining with 50% occupancy for those who have taken both doses of the Covid vaccine.”
