KFC launches new schemes for entertainment sector

Trivandrum: Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC), the premier development financier in the State, has pioneered into the field of financing the entertainment industry and has brought out two schemes, which were launched by the Minister for Finance, Shri K M Mani at Thiruvanathapuram on July 06, 2012. Under the scheme, KFC will finance Rs.2 crores for movies and Rs.20 crores for building multiplexes.

Indian Natural Rubber in Market Linked Focus Product List

Kottayam: The Government of India has included branded ‘Indian Natural Rubber’ in the Market Linked Focus Product Scheme (MLFPS). According to the Foreign Trade Policy amendment by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on June 05, 2012, branded NR would be incentivised and entitled to duty credit scrip equivalent to 2 per cent. Indian NR has been included as 147th item in the MLFP scheme.

MoUs signed for first Chinese investment in Kerala
