Trivandrum: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will set up its Consulate General in Kerala. This was announced by Mohamed Sultan Abdalla Al Owais, Ambassador of the UAE to India, at the ‘UAE – Kerala: Partners in Growth’ meet held today in Thiruvananthapuram.

Kottayam: A team of nine officials and smallholders from Nigeria has arrived in Kerala to visit Rubber Board and rubber estates and smallholdings in India. The visit is under the Rubber Project of International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) funded by Common Fund for Commodities (CFC) with IRSG as the supervisory body. The team is headed by Dr. Timothy Unuigboje, Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria (RRIN).
