Kottayam: The Rubber Board signed an MoU with the Central Institute of Petro Chemical Engineering and Technology (CIPET) to conduct long-term & short-term courses in polymer technology, including skill development programmes through National Institute for Rubber Training (NIRT), the training department of the Board.

Trivandrum: All universities in Kerala, regular under UGC and technical under AICTE alike, will have to implement the National Education Policy (NEP) norms introduced by the government three years back. They will have to introduce more flexibility in their courses as there would be strong demands from the student community to implement NEP reforms. This was disclosed by 2020, Prof J N Moorthy, Director of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Thiruvananthapuram.
