Thiruvananthapuram, June 23: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today informed that the State is hopeful about the implementation of the mandatory pre-flight Covid testing for Pravasies at the earliest. The State Government had earlier extended the implementation of the pre-flight mandatory Covid-19 testing for those coming to Kerala from abroad till June 24.

Thiruvananthapuram, June 23: Kerala today reported its highest single-day count of 141 new Covid-19 cases. The new active cases were detected in 79 people who had come back from foreign countries and 52 who arrived from other states. Nine have got infected through primary contact and one is a health worker. At the same time, 60 patients under treatment for Coronavirus have recovered today.

Thiruvananthapuram, June 22: 138 new cases of Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Kerala today, the highest number of positive cases being reported on a single day so far, according to the Minister for Health & Social Justice, Smt K K Shailaja.

Thiruvananthapuram, June 21: Kerala today reported its highest number of 133 new Covid-19 cases on a single day so far, as per the Minister for Health, Smt KK Shailaja. The new positive cases were confirmed in 16 persons from Thrissur district, 15 in Palakkad district, 13 from Kollam district, 11 in Idukki district, 10 each from Alappuzha, Kottayam, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kannur districts, nine in Thiruvananthapuram district, eight from Pathanamthitta district, six in Kasargod district and five from Ernakulam district.

Trivandrum: “People started coming back to Kerala by the road from May 04, by flights from May 07, by ships from May 10 and by trains from May 14. Of the 2,413 new Covid cases reported here till June 19, 2,165 cases were in people who came back to the State from other States and from overseas”, the Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayio Vijayan said.
