Thiruvananthapuram, June 17: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 75 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the State today even as 90 patients under treatment for the same has tested negative. The Chief Minister also said that so far there have been 20 deaths in the State due to Covid and till yesterday, 277 Keralites outside the State have lost their lives to the virus. “This gives an indication that the situation is serious and we should do everything possible to avoid the spread of the virus.”

Thiruvananthapuram, June 16: 79 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today as per the Minister for Health & Social Justice, Smt K K Shailaja. 15 persons from Malappuram district, 13 in Ernakulam district, seven each from Alappuzha, Thrissur and Kannur districts, six each in Pathanamthitta and Palakkad districts, four each from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam and Kozhikode districts, and two in Kasargod district are those who tested positive for the disease.

Thiruvananthapuram, June 15: Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja has informed that 82 persons were confirmed with Covid-19 in Kerala today. This also includes Rameshan, a 67-year-old native of Thiruvananthapuram who had died on June 12. A heart patient, he was also under treatment for chronic pulmonary disease.

Thiruvananthapuram, June 14: Kerala today reported more recoveries from Covid-19 than new active cases. Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja has informed that the test results of 56 patients who were under treatment for the disease in the State were negative today even as 54 new cases of Coronavirus were confirmed.
