Thiruvananthapuram, July 13: 449 new active cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today while 162 patients under treatment for the same have recovered. Giving details, Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said the situation today is similar to the last few days. Of the cases detected today, 140 are those who came back from abroad, 64 have arrived from other states and 144 are infected through contact. Thiruvananthapuram, July 12: Minister for Health & Social Justice, Smt K K Shailaja informed that 435 new active cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today. Of the cases detected today, 206 are infected through contact, 128 are returnees from foreign countries and 87 from other states. At the same time, 132 patients under treatment have recovered today.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 11: 488 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today while 143 patients have recovered. Sharing the details, Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said that 234 were cases of infection through contact as 167 were in those who came back from overseas and 76 from other states.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 10: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan announced that both Covid testing and facilities to treat Covid patients would be ramped up in the State in view of the rising number of cases in the past few weeks. The CM also mentioned that there has been a drastic increase in the rate of spread in contact cases, from 6.1% on June 30 to 20.64% on July 09.
