Thiruvananthapuram, July 24: 885 new active Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Kerala today while 968 patients were cured of the disease. Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said the total count of confirmed cases in the State is 16,995. Of those diagnosed today, 724 are contact cases and the source of infection is unknown in 56 cases. 64 have arrived from overseas and 68 from other states. 24 healthcare workers were also infected.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 23: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today announced the formation of Covid Brigade to man the Covid First-Line Treatment Centres (CFLTCs) in the State. The Covid Brigade will be set up by mobilising additional manpower resources in addition to the health department staff.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 23: 1,078 new active cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today even as 432 patients recovered from the same. Giving details, Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said the numbers of Covid patients are increasing by the day and the total number of confirmed cases in the State is now 16,110. Of those detected today, 798 got infected through contact and the source of 65 cases is not clear. 104 are returnees from overseas and 115 from other states. There were five deaths also.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 22: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan informed that the number of active Covid-19 cases in Kerala has crossed the 1,000 mark for the first time on a single day as 1,038 cases were confirmed today. The total number of cases in the State is now 15,032.
