Thiruvananthapuram, July 29: Minister of Health, Smt K K Shailaja informed that 903 people in Kerala tested positive for Covid-19 today while 641 patients under treatment have tested negative. 706 people were infected through contact and the contact source of 35 unknown. 90 of those diagnosed today are returnees from overseas and 71 from other states.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 28: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today announced that a study conducted by the Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering at Stanford University in the United States, has ranked the Kerala second in the list of the best performing Indian states in reporting the Covid pandemic.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 28: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan informed that 1,167 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today while 679 patients under treatment have recovered from the disease. 888 are cases of local transmission and in 55 cases; the source of infection is unknown. 122 cases are those who came back from abroad and 96 from other states. 33 healthcare workers were also infected.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 27: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today informed that 45% of the 12,801 beds available in 101 Covid First-Line Treatment Centres (CFLTCs) are now occupied. He also announced that more CFLTCs are being prepared and additional manpower resources required will be mobilised.
