2,111 recoveries & 1,140 new Covid cases in Kerala today

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 01: 1,140 new active cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today while 2,111 patients under treatment for the same have recovered as per the Minister for Health & Social Justice, Smt K K Shailaja. 1,059 were cases of local transmission and the source of infection of 158 was not traceable. 14 of those diagnosed with the disease are returnees from overseas and 36 from other states.

Kerala reports 2,397 new cases & 2,225 recoveries

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 29: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that Covid-19 was confirmed in 2,397 persons in Kerala today. 2,137 people were infected through contact and the source in 197 cases were not traceable. 68 of those diagnosed today have come back from foreign countries and 126, from other states. 63 healthcare workers are also infected. The CM also added that there are more than 200 cases in four districts. At the same time, 2,225 patients under treatment for the disease have recovered today.
