Trivandrum: Kerala’s stunning resurgence as a global travel destination in the post-pandemic phase got a massive endorsement with the New York Times listing the state among 52 must-visit places in 2023. Kerala is the only destination from India and is listed at the 13th spot in the newspaper’s annual list of places to visit.

Vehicle Tax on tourist caravans slashed by 50%
Trivandrum: In a major support to Kerala’s Caravan Tourism initiative, Keravan Kerala, the Transport Department has slashed the quarterly Motor Vehicle tax on tourist caravans operating in the state by 50 per cent from Rs 1,000 to Rs 500 with effect from April 2022.
