Trivandrum: As Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) formally rolls out its indigenously developed 4G network nationwide tomorrow, BSNL Kerala Circle has embarked upon an ambitious project to achieve 100 per cent 4G saturation in the State. With 7,200 4G towers, BSNL currently has 98 per cent 4G coverage across Kerala.

BSNL issues free 4G SIM cards ahead of 4G rollout
Trivandrum: As a prelude to the rollout of their much delayed 4G services, the public sector telecom service provider, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Kerala Circle has started issuing 4G SIM cards free to their mobile customers.

Thiruvananthapuram, May 29: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan announced that the Rs. 1,500 crores Kerala Fibre Optic Network (K-FON) project to provide free internet connectivity to the poor and to others at an affordable rate will be rolled out by December. He said this after a meeting today with the head of companies of the consortium executing the project.
