Kerala gets its first American Business Corner at Trivandrum

Trivandrum: The first American Business Corner in Kerala was inaugurated today by Chief Minister Shri Oommen Chandy at Thiruvananthapuram. The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Kochi, has partnered with the US Consulate to open the Business Centre in Kerala. This is the fourth American Business Corner (ABC) in India. Another ABC at Kochi will be inaugurated tomorrow.

CII plans skill development initiatives in Kerala, ties up with ICAI

Trivandrum: In just three weeks after tying up with Nasscom for a skill development programme for the IT & ITeS sector in Kerala, the Government of Kerala has signed a MoU with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India (ICAI) for a similar programme for the Financial Services sector targeted at +2 and undergraduate students in Kerala under a PPP model. The initiative, spearheaded by CII, Kerala, aims to make the students passing out from colleges employable.

Minister markets Kerala as destination for green businesses

Trivandrum: Minister for Industries & IT, Shri P K Kunhalikutty has said that businesses keen to drive their bottom lines and maintain green credentials will find Kerala the ideal destination to realise their plans.
