Concerted efforts to tarnish Kerala’s image using elephant incident: CM

Thiruvananthapuram, June 04: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today said that the elephant torture incident is being used to tarnish the image of the State. “It’s a baseless concerted campaign against Kerala at a national level and these won’t undo the big achievements of the State in Covid mitigation and treatment.” The CM had earlier announced an investigation into the elephant torture incident at Mannarkad Forest Division in Palakkad district.

No restrictions on flights to bring back stranded Pravasies to Kerala: CM

Thiruvananthapuram, June 03: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today announced that there are no restrictions on evacuation flights to Kerala. The State government has given permission for 700 flights this month to bring back the stranded Pravasi Malayalees from other countries. The State has agreed to 360 flights under the Vande Bharat mission Phase II, 40 chartered flights from the Gulf countries and 300 flights by SpiceJet.

Achievements and accolades galore on fourth anniversary of LDF Govt.: Kerala CM

Thiruvananthapuram, May 25: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today said that the four years of the present LDF government has seen several achievements in the State. During this period, the State has also got numerous compliments on several fronts while going through consecutive natural calamities and medical challenges. The Chief Minister was addressing the media on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the LDF Government. The celebrations though have been cancelled due to the Covid pandemic.
