Thiruvananthapuram, May 14: Kerala today saw a spurt in the number of Covid-19 cases with 26 new cases being confirmed during the day. Ten persons in Kasargod district, five from Malappuram district, three each in Palakkad and Wayanad districts, two from Kannur district, and one each from Pathanamthitta, Idukki and Kozhikode districts are those who tested positive.

Thiruvananthapuram, May 13: Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja has informed that ten new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today. The infection was detected in three persons from Malappuram district, two each in Wayanad and Palakkad districts, and one each from Kottayam, Kannur and Kozhikode districts. Four of them have recently come back from abroad, two have returned from Chennai and four have got infected through local contact. This includes two police personnel also. Thiruvananthapuram, May 10: Kerala Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja informed that seven new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today. Three of the positive cases are in Wayanad district, two from Thrissur district, and one each in Ernakulam and Malappuram districts. Three of them are Pravasi Malayalees who came back from Abu Dhabi on May 07 by the first evacuation flight to Kerala, two have returned from Chennai and two are cases of local transmission.
