Kerala reports 301 new Covid cases, its highest single day tally
Thiruvananthapuram, July 08: Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja has informed that 301 new active cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today, the highest single-day tally so far while 107 patients have recovered today. Of the new positive cases detected today, 99 are those who arrived in the State from overseas, 95 from other states and 90 are cases of local transmission. This is the first time the number is going over 300.

Thiruvananthapuram, July 07: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has said that till yesterday, 2,384 persons who returned to Kerala from outside have tested positive for Covid-19. Of these, 1,489 were those who came back from abroad and 895 were from other states. (It may be noted that the total number of confirmed cases yesterday was 5,624.)
