Thiruvananthapuram: Minister of Health, Smt K K Shailaja has informed that 1,242 new active cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Kerala today. At the same time, 1,238 patients under treatment for the disease have recovered and were discharged from the hospitals today.

Thiruvananthapuram: 1,908 new active cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today while 1,110 patients under treatment for the same have recovered. According to the Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja 1,718 people were infected through contact and the source of infection in 160 cases was unknown. 35 of those diagnosed today are returnees from foreign countries and 105 from other states. 50 healthcare workers are also infected by the disease.

Meanwhile, 1,292 patients under treatment for the disease have tested negative and were discharged from hospitals today.

According to the Minister of Health, Smt K K Shailaja, 1,777 persons were infected through contact and the source in 109 cases was unknown. 64 are those who arrived from abroad and 99 from other states. 35 healthcare workers were also infected by the virus. At the same time, 1,419 patients under treatment for Coronavirus have recovered today.
