Thiruvananthapuram: Covid-19 was confirmed in 3,026 persons in Kerala today. Of the cases detected, 2,723 are contact cases and the source of infection of 237 was not traceable. 49 have come back from abroad and 163 from other states. 89 healthcare workers were also infected. Meanwhile, 1,862 patients under treatment for the disease have recovered today.

Thiruvananthapuram: 1,648 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Kerala today while 2,246 patients under treatment for the disease have recovered. 1,495 are cases are local transmission and the source of infection was unknown in 112. 29 cases are returnees from overseas and 54 from other states. 61 healthcare workers were also infected.

Thiruvananthapuram: Covid-19 was confirmed in 3,082 persons in Kerala today according to the Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja. This is the highest single-day count so far. Of those diagnosed today, 2,844 people were infected through contact and the source of infection of 189 was not traceable. 56 of them have come back from foreign countries and 132 from other states. 50 healthcare workers were also infected. Meanwhile, 2,196 patients under treatment for the disease have recovered.

Of these, 2,433 are locally transmitted cases and the contact source in 220 cases was unknown. 38 of them are returnees from foreign countries and 114 from other states. 61 healthcare workers were also among those infected. At the same time, 2,111 patients under treatment for the disease have recovered today.
