Thiruvananthapuram: Covid-19 was confirmed in 9,347 persons in Kerala today while 8,924 patients have recovered from the disease. This is the highest single-day number of recoveries so far. 8,216 were cases of local transmission and the source of infection for 821 was unknown. 105 healthcare workers were among those infected through contact.

11,755 new Covid cases & 7,570 recoveries today in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 11,755 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Kerala today and at present, there are 95,918 patients undergoing treatment for the same. 10,472 are cases of infection through contact and the source of infection was unknown in 952 cases. There are 116 healthcare workers among those infected. At the same time, 7,570 patients have recovered today from Coronavirus infection in the State.

Of those diagnosed today, 9,542 were cases of local transmission and the source of infection was not traceable in 741 cases. 98 healthcare workers were among those infected by the virus.
