Thiruvananthapuram: Covid-19 was confirmed in 6,638 persons in Kerala today even as 7,828 patients have recovered from the disease. 5,789 were cases of local transmission and the contact source was unknown for 700. There were 64 medical staff among those infected.

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that 7,020 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today. 6,037 persons were infected through contact and the source of infection for 734 was unknown. 81 healthcare workers were among those infected. At the same time, 8,474 patients have recovered from the disease today.
