Thiruvananthapuram: 4,470 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Kerala today along with 4,847 patient recoveries. 3,858 were cases of local transmission and the source of infection was not traceable for 498. There were 37 medical staff among those infected. In the meantime, 26 recent deaths were confirmed today as due to Covid and the death toll in the State is now 2,533.

Thiruvananthapuram: Covid-19 was detected in 4,875 persons in Kerala today. 4,230 people including 43 healthcare workers were infected through contact and the contact source of infection was unknown for 508. At the same time, 4,647 patients have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 35 deaths in the last few days were confirmed as due to Covid taking the related death toll in the state to 2,507.
