Trivandrum: After being closed for over one and a half years, schools in Kerala are set to reopen from November 01. This was decided in the review meeting of the Covid situation held today. However, the ban on in-house dining and service inside hotels and bars would continue for the time being.

Kerala withdraws night curfew and Sunday full lockdowns
Trivandrum: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today announced the withdrawal of the night curfew and the complete lockdown on Sundays in the State with immediate effect. The Kerala Government has issued the necessary orders in this regard.

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today informed that the spread of the Covid cases in Kerala has decreased by 42%. “There is a 15% decline in the test positivity rate as compared to last week. The average test positivity rate for the last three days is 11.5%. The number of new cases during June 11-13 has dropped by 4.2% over the previous three days. The number of active cases has decreased by 14.43% and the TPR also declined by 10.04% over this period.”
