Kottayam: The Rubber Board has rolled out the Landslide Zonation Map of rubber plantations and the mobile app ‘RUBAC’ for rubber census in the country. Dr K N Raghavan, Executive Director, Rubber Board launched these initiatives in a function held at Rubber Research Institute of India (RRII).

Kerala first State in the country to fix a floor price for vegetables
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today informed that Kerala has become the first state in the country to fix the floor price for vegetables. He said this while launching the scheme announcing the floor price for 16 varieties of vegetables. The scheme would come into effect from November 01, 2020.

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today announced government intervention in the open market to control the rising prices of onion in the State. The shops under the Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco), the Kerala State Co-operatives Consumers’ Federation (Consumerfed) and the Kerala State Horticultural Products Development Corporation (Horticorp) will sell onion at Rs. 45 per kg from next month.
