Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 22: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan informed that 7,482 new active cases of Covid-19 were reported in Kerala today. 6,448 persons were infected through contact and the source of infection was unknown for 844. There are 67 healthcare workers among those infected. At the same time, 7,593 patients were cured of Coronavirus infection today.

Thiruvananthapuram: Covid-19 was confirmed in 8,369 persons in Kerala today while 6,830 patients have recovered from the disease. 7,262 people were infected through contact and the source of infection was unknown for 883. There are 64 healthcare workers among those infected.

Thiruvananthapuram: After the Covid lockdown, 20 new IT companies have come to Kerala to set up their operations here. He also added that the government’s efforts were to delay the outbreak of the pandemic from peaking and the government used the time gained in the process to strengthen the medical and health infrastructure facilities in the State.
