Meanwhile, 28 recent deaths were confirmed today as due to Covid taking the death toll in the State to 1,742.

Of the cases detected, 3,070 persons were infected through contact and the source of infection for 409 was unknown. There were 53 health personnel among those infected. Meanwhile, 22 recent deaths were confirmed to be due to Covid taking the death toll to 1,714.
