Thiruvananthapuram: 3,272 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Kerala today along with 4,705 patient recoveries bringing down the number of active cases in the State below 60,000. Of the cases detected, 2,859 were locally transmitted and the source of infection of 328 is not traceable. There were 36 medics or paramedics among those infected. Meanwhile, 23 recent deaths were confirmed as due to Covid taking the death toll in the state to 2,441.

In the meantime, 28 recent deaths were confirmed today as due to Covid and the related death toll is now 2,418.
