Volkswagen interested in setting up Engine Assembly Unit in Kerala
Kochi: With regard to reports by a section of the media that German auto major Volkswagen has not proposed an Engine Assembly Unit in Kerala, the Government today clarified that such a proposal had indeed been discussed with representatives of Volkswagen Group India at the Emerging Kerala 2012 Global Connect which concluded in Kochi on September 14.

Kochi: ‘Metro Man’ Dr. E Sreedharan today called for project-specific concession agreements on public-private partnerships (PPP) to make them financially attractive to the private sector.
