Kerala Police to launch ‘WhatsApp Commissioner’ programme

Trivandrum: In an effort to bring policing to the doorsteps of the people using a digital avenue, the Kerala Police has proposed to start a new programme called ‘WhatsApp Commissioner’, under which the app will be available in the numbers of all the District SPs under the Thiruvananthapuram Range and with the IGP. Members of the public using this application can send information through text, audio, pictures and videos on any issue of public interest.

Kerala IT companies explore Europe to revive biz opportunities

Trivandrum: Kerala IT companies are all set to accelerate business in the European market which showed good signs of recovery after a quiet period of close to five years. This emerged after the visit of the Kerala IT delegation to the European Union that concluded last week. The 35 delegate companies between them received more than 500 enquiries for IT products and services during the visit.
