Electronics Technology Parks, Kerala gets ‘CRISIL D’ rating

Trivandrum: In what can be termed as a serious question mark on its credit worthiness, Credit Rating Information Services of India Limited (CRISIL), a leading ratings agency, has revoked the suspension of its rating on the bank facilities of Electronics Technology Park, Kerala (ETPK) or Technopark, Trivandrum, as it is more popularly known and has assigned its ‘CRISIL D’ rating to these facilities. CRISIL D Instruments with this rating are in default or are expected to be in default soon.

Bangalore: The public cloud services market in India is on pace to grow 32.2 percent in 2014 to total $ 556.8 million, an increase from 2013 revenue of $ 421 million, according to Gartner, Inc. Spending on Software as a Service (SaaS) will total $ 220 million in 2014, growing 33.2 percent from last year.

Kerala to set up hub in US for SV Squared programme winners

Kochi: The Government of Kerala will sponsor the visit of at least ten student entrepreneurs to the Silicon Valley this year as part of the SV Square programme of Startup Village, and by August, set up a permanent centre in the US to facilitate these visits. This was announced by Chief Minister Shri Oommen Chandy at the second anniversary celebrations of Kochi based Startup Village.
