Seven new cases & four recoveries today, total 20 patients under treatment

Thiruvananthapuram, May 10: Kerala Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja informed that seven new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today. Three of the positive cases are in Wayanad district, two from Thrissur district, and one each in Ernakulam and Malappuram districts. Three of them are Pravasi Malayalees who came back from Abu Dhabi on May 07 by the first evacuation flight to Kerala, two have returned from Chennai and two are cases of local transmission.

Strict screening for Pravasi Malayalees returning from overseas and other States

Thiruvananthapuram, May 08: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today said that the Government is doing all possible to help and support the returning expatriates. “The Government is providing all possible facilities for the returning Pravasies. Those coming from Red Zones will have mandatory quarantine for 14 days. Henceforth, those coming from red zones will be moved to quarantine centres from the check post itself.”
