Thiruvananthapuram, June 16: 79 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today as per the Minister for Health & Social Justice, Smt K K Shailaja. 15 persons from Malappuram district, 13 in Ernakulam district, seven each from Alappuzha, Thrissur and Kannur districts, six each in Pathanamthitta and Palakkad districts, four each from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam and Kozhikode districts, and two in Kasargod district are those who tested positive for the disease.

Kerala issues SOP for people coming in for short stay of up to 7 days
Trivandrum: The Kerala Government has issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the stay of people coming to the State for short visits not exceeding seven days for urgent purposes, without undergoing the mandatory home/institutional quarantine enforced following the outbreak of Covid-19.

Thiruvananthapuram, June 15: Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja has informed that 82 persons were confirmed with Covid-19 in Kerala today. This also includes Rameshan, a 67-year-old native of Thiruvananthapuram who had died on June 12. A heart patient, he was also under treatment for chronic pulmonary disease.

Thiruvananthapuram, June 14: Kerala today reported more recoveries from Covid-19 than new active cases. Minister for Health, Smt K K Shailaja has informed that the test results of 56 patients who were under treatment for the disease in the State were negative today even as 54 new cases of Coronavirus were confirmed.
