1,184 new cases & 784 recoveries today, total 12, 737 patients under treatment

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 10: 1,184 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today even as 784 have recovered from the disease. Sharing the details, Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said, “Of the active cases detected today, 956 were infected through contact and the source was unknown in 114. 106 are those who came back from overseas and 73 from other states. 41 healthcare workers were also infected.”. The Chief Minister also condoled the seven Covid related deaths reported in the State.

Highest single-day count of both positive cases & recoveries in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 08: 1,420 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Kerala today while 1,715 patients have recovered. Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said that this is the highest single-day count of both positive cases and people being cured. 1,216 people were infected through contact and the source of infection of 92 was unknown. 60 have arrived from overseas and 108 from other states. 30 Healthcare workers are among those infected.

Kerala CM announces Rs. 10 lakhs solatium for plane crash victims, free treatment for injured

Kozhikode: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan has announced a compensation of Rs.10 lakhs to the next of kin of each passenger who died in the Air India Express crash that took place at the Karipur International Airport here yesterday. He was briefing the media after visiting the crash site at the airport and the injured at the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.

1,251 new cases & 814 recoveries today, total 12,411 patients under treatment

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 07: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan informed that 1,251 new active Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Kerala with 814 people having recovered from the disease today. 1,061 were contact cases and the source of infection in 73 cases was unknown. 77 have returned from abroad and 94 from other states. 18 healthcare workers were also infected. The Chief Minister also offered his condolences on the five deaths reported in the State.
