Trivandrum: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) with the support of Vizhinjam International Seaport Ltd is organising a Conference on Port-Led Industrialisation & Community Development – Leveraging Vizhinjam on February 18, 2019, at Thiruvananthapuram.
This conference is held with the objective of discussing and deliberating the strategic plan for the development of port-led industries and community development, leveraging Vizhinjam. The timing of the Conference is so appropriate that it will serve as a Business Summit for the International and national investor community. The conference would be participated by National and International Trade bodies and Trade Commission of various countries. The conference would provide an opportunity for policymakers and other officers in the Government to interact with the business community and understand their requirement and concerns. The discussion and learning would also help the policymakers in framing the policy and strategic development plan for Port Led Industrialisation in the State and also to bring the investment to the State.
Kerala Governor, Justice (Retd) P Sathasivam will be the Chief Guest for the Inaugural Session and Dr Shashi Tharoor, MP will be the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Session.
