Kochi: Federal Bank has joined hands with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to enable CA students across the country remit their fees online. The arrangement will see the Bank leveraging its Payment Gateway service to help the students remit their fees hassle-free.
The online fee can be effected through debit card, credit card or net banking. The facility can also be accessed through the Bank’s mobile banking platforms that include its latest UPI app, LOTZA.
This is the first ever comprehensive Payment Gateway services that ICAI has entered into with any Bank. The Memorandum of Understanding for the partnership was signed between the Bank and the Institute at ICAI’s Head Office at New Delhi.
Devaraja Reddy, President of ICAI and Shalini Warrier, Chief Operating Officer of Federal Bank exchanged the MoU for online fee collection between ICAI and Federal Bank in the presence of Nilesh Vikamsey, Chairman, Federal Bank and also Vice President, ICAI; and K A Babu, DGM & Zonal Head, Federal Bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Shalini said, “It is a matter of great prestige to us to join hands with ICAI. Bank has always been happy to serve the student community with its novel offers. This partnership between the Bank and the ICAI is sure to increase the pace of digital transformation particularly among the students who are expected to be always in the forefront of any positive change. Our powerful digital platforms and relevant offers will continue to serve the country”.
