The participatory approach to management ensures employees stay satisfied, and motivated with a high morale in working for the company, while making sure that they can strike a good balance between personal life and their jobs. Freedom and flexibility in the work environment balanced with accountability has ensured the most optimum performance along with employee satisfaction in Arbitron India.
In his remarks, Shilen said, “It is a great honour, pride and privilege to receive the KMA – Nasscom IT leadership award. I have made a humble attempt to show the industry that, with the right set of talent and an accountability driven work culture, a world class technology centre can be started in Kerala. The State offers immense opportunities for setting up knowledge based companies high up on the value chain. Knowledge based companies should look at Kerala for creative and niche talent and potentially set up their operations which can attract the talented diaspora spread across the globe and can provide the stimulus for economic growth of the State.”
