Trivandrum: Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan will formally launch the Single Window Service delivery platforms of the Government of Kerala, e-Sevanam portal and m-Sevanam mobile application on October 01, 2021.
Aimed at making Kerala a ‘Digitally Empowered’ society, the state government has now set in motion an ambitious policy framework that aims to bridge the digital divide by empowering the citizens to access all government services online.
Kerala eService Portal eSEVANAM (www.services.kerala.gov.in) is launched as a Good Governance initiative, has used technology to aggregate almost all online services (G2C Government to Citizens and G2B Government to Business) of the Government of Kerala, in a single platform for the Citizens of Kerala. Further, the impact of the pandemic has accelerated the need for swift access to Government Services at the comfort of their home. And this has been the driving factor for many departments to shift their services from offline to online mode.
Advantages to Citizens
Citizens no more have to search here and there, but can quickly find their online services in eSEVANAM through the Universal search bar and need not bother which department provides what. Similarly, Target User Category helps to find the Services that would be helpful for them.
Service Charter provides a brief description of service, documents required to upload and stipulated time limit for the department to render that service. Dashboard of services provide details like requests received, closed and pending.
In addition to the consolidation of 500+ services of 60 departments in a single platform, Kerala eService Portal eSEVANAM, all mobile-friendly 450+ services are rendered through a mobile application mSEVANAM.
This prestigious initiative was taken up by the Kerala State IT Mission (KSITM) by co-coordinating with different departments and its nodal officers to integrate their services in this online platform. The Portal was designed by C-Dit. NIC Kerala has successfully developed this m-Sevanam Mobile Application by integrating the online services.
